A fourth person has been charged after a violent brawl left a man dead and another fighting for life in Sydney's west.
Emergency services were called to Catlin Close, Whalan, at 7.30pm on Wednesday following reports of a stabbing and found three men with stab wounds.Matthew Smale, 40, was stabbed in the neck and died at the scene. His 19-year-old son, Jaiden, suffered multiple stab wounds to the chest and was taken to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.A 25-year-old man had a cut arm.Yesterday, officers executed search warrants at homes on McCrae Place, Blackett, and Tarawa Street, Lethbridge Park.Three men – one aged 18 and two aged 19 – have already been charged over their alleged roles in the incident.
