BREAKING: Channel 7 have taken Georgia Love off air and issued an apology to staff after her social media post was deemed 'racist'. Details:

The former Bachelorette posted a video to Instagram earlier in the week of a cat which was sitting inside an Asian restaurant.The criticism came in thick and fast with key figures accusing her of casual racism. Ms Love deleted the video about an hour later but the damage had already been done.

Ms Love will be moved to the production desk and was “devastated” and “deeply sorry” for any hurt caused. She has been counselled by the network and issued an apology to her colleagues in an email sent to staff.The news comes just hours after she was dumped as an ambassador for Chadstone Shopping Centre.

“We were disappointed by a social media post this week by one of our friends of the Chadstone brand and, as a result, we issued notice to end our contract with Georgia,” the statement read.
