A 19-year-old was taken to hospital after reportedly being assaulted in the Chapeltown area
Police have launched a manhunt to find a group of balaclava-wearing group after a teenager was attacked and killed in Chapeltown.
As it launched a murder investigation, the force said it understands that "three to four people wearing balaclavas have been involved in a sustained attack on the victim." The teenager tragically died in hospital shortly after being taken for treatment.
People living in the area or who passed through it have also been asked to check their doorbell or dashcam footage in case it captured anything relevant.
