In tonight's Glasgow Lives, we talk to Nick, a DJ who has spoken of how DJing helped build his confidence - something he lacked while growing up in Wishaw in the mid 80s.

I’ve been into music for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my dad loved Kraftwerk, The Velvet Underground, Prince & Disco, so music was a huge part of my life from an early age.

So, DJing definitely helped my confidence through the years and let me face my fears to some extent, and Bosco ended up being my DJ name so it worked out in the end.I made a conscious decision to make music the focus of my life many years ago and through that, things expanded into DJing, producing, and eventually running a music venue. It’s not always been easy, but I’ve never regretted following my life’s passion.

I think of Let’s Go Back as a family. From the DJs to the PR and door staff, it’s all my best friends that are involved in the running of it, which is a really special thing. When we started 23 years ago in the Soundhaus, it was an old-school acid house/rave club, but as time progressed, the whole thing evolved.
