When I turned on the radio yesterday morning, halfway through an interview with Patricia Karvelas, I assumed she was talking to a representative of the oil and gas industry. Personally I cannot wait for 2025 and minority government with the Greens and the teals.Australian Competition and Consumer Commission If this ban had not existed for this critical period, I strongly suspect we would be in a far better position now, both in terms of supply and price. We could easily have imposed a domestic supply requirement on any development. Once it was one call to the Gas and Fuel Corporation and the meter was moved efficiently at minimal or no cost. Many frontline health workers are under 30 and cannot access a winter booster vaccine against COVID-19.
From our clinical experiences and anecdotal evidence, the risk of waning immunity with a prolonged period between vaccinations and thus subsequent potential for more serious illness or reinfection appears to outweigh the risks of a timely fourth dose. Many of us feel nervous and frustrated.
