Harry and Meghan have been formally evicted from their abandoned home in England as King Charles continues to cut expenditure on royal homes.
The five-bedroom Frogmore Cottage was a wedding gift to the couple from the late Queen Elizabeth back in 2018, but the Sussexes only ultimately lived there for about six months before leaving England and relocating to the United States.

Picture: Leon Neal/Getty Images However, the disgraced royal will be unlikely to afford its upkeep after Charles slashed Andrew’s annual £250,000 grant following sexual abuse allegations by Virginia Giuffre. In addition to private homes which are purchased or passed down, the Crown Estate owns a long list of royal homes across England which family members occupy through generous lease agreements.
