After coming under fire from the Opposition for being missing in action after the Optus cyber breach, the Minister for Home Affairs has finally responded.
The cyberattack is believed to have stolen the details of about 2.8 million customers, which includes their passport, driver's license, email, home address, date of birth and phone number.

Offer ends 31 October, 2022 “Responsibility for the security breach rests with Optus and I want to note that the breach is of a nature that we should not expect to see in a large telecommunications provider in this country,” she told the House of Representatives.
