A terrifying assault in Sydney’s inner suburbs has been captured on camera, now police are urging anyone with information to come forward.

Disturbing footage shows the moment a male driver exits a vehicle and makes his way around the car to the back seat before allegedly throwing punches at a female passenger.

A second woman, sitting in the front, was heard yelling at the man to stop, while a bystander attempted to intervene and was also assaulted.The driver was tackled into a fence before he returned to the vehicle and drove from the scene with the female passengers still seated inside.
