Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has revealed the struggles of being away from home so much in a new relationship and the strong “friendship” that binds him and his partner, Jodie Haydon.

“It’s still a relatively new relationship because of the time we inevitably spend apart,” he told Sky News host Erin Molan.

“My life is one where I’m not in a new relationship spending that intense time that you would normally spend, I’m away a lot in Parliament or with work.”
