The former 60 Minutes producer, who worked across all of Australia's commercial TV networks stumbled on a sliver of a clue that there might be more to the man she called her dad. 9News

From uncovering the truth about tragedies such as the Childers Palace Hostel fire, to interviewing world leaders like Bill Clinton and even heading up an international media firm, she reached the top of the TV ladder.

He'd fled Nazi Germany for Australia, been imprisoned in NSW during World War II and had been married three times before her mother. "My father realised his third wife was obviously having some affairs and so it morphed into what was called the divorce raids which were very famous in Australia. And while the divorce case makes for an amusing anecdote, she also uncovered two heartbreaking tragedies in her father's life, too.

Jacoby admits her father might be a little "horrified" about all that she unearthed, at least at first.
