In the 12 years that followed, Grant has played just about every position apart from goalkeeper but never at another club. It's a remarkable achievement in an ecosystem as volatile as Australian football where salary cap pressures see a high turnover of players, a churn that's made it near impossible for any player to become a one-club hero.
"I had a few injuries where the club stood by me which was very lucky for me.
