Jetstar passengers taking a service from Ho Chi Minh City to Melbourne were forced to stay in Vietnam overnight after the airline discovered an issue with an aircraft door.
Flight JQ64 from Ho Chi Minh City to Melbourne was scheduled to depart on Monday at 10.35pm and arrive in Melbourne on Tuesday at 11am.
Travellers were forced to stay in Vietnam on Monday night, with the flight to Melbourne now expected to take off on Tuesday evening. “We never want to cancel a flight but safety is always our number one priority and we apologise for the inconvenience.”On Sunday, flight JQ30 from Bangkok to Melbourne was forced to divert and land in Alice Springs due to a medical emergency after a passenger suffered a stroke.
