UFC 249 is STILL ON. Khabib vs Ferguson is AGAIN OFF.

The highly-anticipated UFC fight between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson has been scrapped for a fifth time with Justin Gaethje confirmed as the man to replace the lightweight champion on April 18.

The UFC held a full fight card in an empty arena in Brazil last month but cancelled its ensuing three scheduled shows. Ferguson is a longtime lightweight contender who has been booked to fight Nurmagomedov five times, with each bout falling through due to injury or other circumstances."I'm terrified and I ... love it," Gaethje tweeted after the announcement of his fight.
