Assistant Shadow Treasurer Stuart Robert says the Liberal Party’s calls for fiscal restraint are because it sees Labor doesn’t “have an economic plan”.
Mr Robert said, for example, Labor calling for the continuation of JobKeeper last year would have cost over $80 billion.
“They wanted to continue it, they wanted to spend $80 billion more on it, and they backed the scheme in its design,” he told Sky News Australia.
