Independent Tasmanian Senator Jacqui Lambie has taken aim at the Greens for its hard stance on Prime Minister Anthony Albanese's bill to legislate an emissions reduction target of 43 per cent.
The Greens are pushing to ban coal and gas projects and have indicated support for an emissions reduction target of 75 per cent by 2030.

The Albanese Government has confirmed it would allow for new coal and gas projects if they are financially responsible and passed environmental requirements with the future of the industry to be reliant on international exports.
Greens leader Adam Bandt on Wednesday announced he would begin negotiations with the government on the climate bill but doubled down on his concerns about future coal and gas projects.
