The men accused of being involved in a deadly shooting in Sydney’s inner west allegedly have links to notorious bikie gangs, prompting the need for specialist police.
7 News reports that the fatal incident, which unfolded in Lewisham in Sydney’s inner west on Friday, will be treated as a bikie shootout with specialist police called in to investigate.
Although initial reports indicated the man had been stabbed, police later confirmed he had been shot in the chest.said a second man, 55, was located inside a home on Victoria St and was treated at the scene by paramedics for a gunshot wound to the head.Several police vehicles, the dog squad, and emergency services were called to the scene, blocking off several surrounding streets as officers raided properties.
