Sydney Trains chief executive Matt Longland said while it was a legal strike, he branded it as "unnecessary". Anyone who attended Finnegan's Hotel on the corner of Darby and King Streets between 6:30pm on Friday night and 2:30am on Saturday morning is now considered a close contact. Unvaccinated people will finally be allowed the same freedoms as their double-jabbed counterparts as part of a road map set out by Premier Dominic Perrottet.
