The member for Calwell was the lone Labor MP to attend the rally on Thursday morning alongside Greens Leader Adam Bandt and other Greens politicians.“Hamas is a terrorist organisation, but there is no justification whatsoever under any laws of war or anything that will allow a civilian population to square off against an army,” she said.
One man attending the rally shouted out during her speech that the Israeli Defence Force is a “terrorist organisation”, with the Labor MP replying, “it is an army”.
