Operation Viking unfolded over two weeks and included NSW and Queensland Police and the Australian Federal Police.Watch the latest News on Channel 7 or stream for free onNSW Police said it had led to the confiscation of $4.5 million in drugs - including cocaine, methylamphetamine and cannabis - and $150,000 cash from properties spanning Northern Rivers and Gold Coast Border towns.
The following day, a 44-year-old man in Ewingsdale was served with a Firearm Prohibiton Order, and his property was raided, where firearms, $10,000 cash, luxury watches and electronic devices were seized. The room was dismantled by police after seizing gang paraphernalia, quantities of alcohol with a price list, and cannabis.A bar area was dismantled, after police located what appeared to be a MONGOLS clubhouse.On July 25, police searched a home in Tweed Heads, and allegedly found cannabis, more than 130g of suspected cocaine, more than $18,000 cash and electronic devices.Alleged criminal networks were raided across Northern NSW and the Gold Coast border towns.
