Helicopters crash on Gold Coast
Multiple paramedic crews are on scene at what the Queensland Ambulance Service is describing as a “major incident” involving two helicopters about 2pm at Main Beach.“There are injuries in the other helicopter with emergency services working at the scene,” police said.SeaWorld Drive at Main Beach has been closed and police urged motorists and pedestrians to avoid the area.
Locals reported online they heard a loud bang and saw a helicopter come down on the beach near SeaWorld.
