A former Bushells shopfront has been converted into a house, now with its own 1950s style garage diner. Take a look inside ➡
The 35 Templeton St, Maldon, home was originally known as Bushells corner store.
The current vendors purchased the home in 2005 and have since turned the two-car garage into a 1950s-style diner, complete with a burger booth, bar and plenty of memorabilia. Mr Waller added that all of the fittings, including the booth and bar were included in the sale, while the memorabilia could be added as an optional extra.
The bar area is complete with vintage stools and posters of stars such as Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe, with more posters, hats, beer bottles and records decorating the entire wall and roof space. The main home comprises three spacious bedrooms, a home office, dining and living room, and separate kitchen and meals area.
