A man has been charged after allegedly snorting a substance off his phone while driving along a busy Sydney motorway. 9News More here: Full story, 6.00pm on 9News

The driver of a Hyundai i30 sedan was allegedly detected using his phone on the M4 at Wentworthville just before midnight on August 14,The matter was referred to Strike Force Puma within the Traffic and Highway Patrol Command for further investigation.

Last week investigators issued a court attendance notice to 21-year-old man for driving without proper control of vehicle, negligent driving, and driver using a mobile phone when not permitted. Police will allege in court that the man was sniffing a substance off his mobile phone while driving and did not have his hands on the steering wheel while the vehicle was in motion.
