At just before 9.10pm yesterday , a grey Peugeot 307 collided with a block of flats in Ninian Road, Grovehill, Hemel Hempstead.
Herts Police say the reasons for the crash are currently unknown, and the driver, a man in his 50s, was taken to hospital for treatment but passed away. No one else was injured. The death has sparked a police probe with officers appealing for anyone with information to come forward. Sergeant Tim Davies said: “Our thoughts are with the man’s family at this devastating time and specialist officers are currently supporting his next of kin.
“We are working to establish the circumstances surrounding this collision and are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or believes they saw the vehicle in the area shortly before the collision to get in touch.”
