A Melbourne woman, Courtney Mills, has tragically passed away in Bali on Sunday, according to a confirmation from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). Ms. Mills was remembered by her loved ones as a radiant and joyful individual, a talented DJ who brought happiness and passion to everyone around her. Her mother, Diane Mayne, and sister, Kiani Mills, were by her side when she died.
Kiani described her sister as 'magnificent,' noting her extraordinary ability to inspire happiness and passion in others. She recalled countless happy memories growing up with her sister and their siblings in Frankston, Melbourne's southeast. Kiani emphasized that Courtney had a successful career as a DJ and cherished traveling to Bali, where she had previously resided for a period.The circumstances surrounding Ms. Mills' death are still under investigation, but initial reports from Kuta Police Chief Agus Diwayanto Dwiputra indicate that she was drinking with hotel staff who escorted her to her room around midnight. Ms. Mills was a well-known Australian DJ with a significant following on Instagram, exceeding 150,000 followers, and also worked as an OnlyFans model. Tributes poured in from friends and colleagues, highlighting her infectious energy and talent. That Sound Agency, her talent agency, described her as a 'brilliant' DJ who was the 'heartbeat of every party,' a vibrant spirit who connected people. The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade confirmed they are providing support to Ms. Mills' family during this difficult time.
