Missing woman Wendy Sleeman's son, Slade Murdok, has been arrested at Inala in Brisbane's south.
The son of a missing Gold Coast woman has been charged with multiple offences, including kidnapping, as the search for Wendy Sleeman, 61, continues.
Ms Sleeman has been missing from Elanora since Tuesday. Her son, Slade Murdok, 30, was arrested at Inala in Brisbane's south on Wednesday afternoon.He has been charged with unlawful stalking, burglary, assault occasioning bodily harm, kidnapping, attempted arson, and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.Police divers searched the lake behind Ms Sleeman's house on Wednesday afternoon.
On Wednesday, police divers retrieved Ms Sleeman's CCTV system and a knife from the lake behind her Elanora home. Police had earlier said they had grave concerns for Ms Sleeman, after finding "clear signs of violence", including a large amount of blood. Officers were called to Ironbark Street at Elanora just after 3:30pm on Tuesday, where they found blood and and a doormat on fire.
