Police urge residents in St Albans to check their properties for steel rods, knives, fence palings and golf clubs and stay on the lookout for a Holden Commodore that was likely the catalyst for a fatal fight between two groups over the weekend.
Inspector Day would not reveal whether police had any suspects but said some of those involved were known to police.
Inspector Day asked anyone in the vicinity of the area to check their properties for weapons that could have been dropped and asked anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward. "Anyone with dashcam footage from 11:00pm Saturday, December 21, to 2:00am Sunday, December 22 should contact Crime Stoppers."
