Two Melbourne mums have funded their entire Christmas Day lunch after raking in more than $400 with their niche festive service. 🎄

And what started out as a hobby has now become a lucrative side hustle for the sisters as they have already earned $416 after decorating eight trees before December even began. The women, who say they were inspired by their mum’s extravagant colour-co-ordinated trees, said the business began when friends started admiring their own Christmas trees.“I started getting a lot of attention from friends, they loved my ornaments, and one of them even asked if I would set up their tree for them,” she said.
“At the moment we’ve only used what people provide us. They tend to leave us a box of things and we get to work,” she said.“For my own tree I place my ornament, stand back and figure out if it works in that space. I do the same thing for other people.”The $416 the two mums have already earnt is enough to cover the cost of their Christmas Day lunch.
