Michael Besser tells the inquest he 'found it difficult' to make the assertion the 44-year-old's head injury occurred as a result of 'a simple fall'.
Elizabeth Britton was found unresponsive in her Pottsville apartment on October 10, 2020.The inquest into the death of Elizabeth Britton has heard she may have had "cognitive capacity" when identifying her potential attacker.
On Monday, Ms Britton's mother gave evidence that her daughter had non-verbally indicated to her that Elizabeth's former partner, Anthony Siganto, had caused her injuries.question, "Did Tony do this?", would be reliable given the extent of Elizabeth's injuries. Dr Besser was also asked to examine whether Ms Britton's injuries could have been the result of an accident.
"I found it difficult to make the assertion that this head injury occurred as a result of a simple fall," he told the court.
