A new poll shows Australians are more concerned about the threats posed by China and Russia over the likes of COVID-19 and climate change.
The Lowy Institute Poll 2022 asked more than 2,000 Australians how they felt about a range of issues.75 per cent of Australians see China as a military threat over the next two decades. Picture: GettyIt also found 65 per cent of Australians view China’s foreign policy as a “critical threat” which is up 29 points since 2019.
In an interview with Sky News Australia, Polling Director at the Lowy Institute Natasha Kassam said it shows people are “feeling unsafe” about the multitude of world events happening.
