NSW Health has updated its advice for what defines a close contact of coronavirus. Read the advice here.
Confirmed COVID-19 cases must self-isolate at home until cleared by a medical practitioner or registered nurse, regardless of vaccination status.
COVID-positive residents must immediately inform household contacts and others who have been in the same home four hours or more of their diagnosis, NSW Health said.The COVID-infected case must also notify their workplace or education facility.The definition of a COVID-19 close contact has been updated by New South Wales authorities.
