New South Wales residents have been urged to only get tested if they have symptoms or have been advised by authorities as long COVID-19 testing lines continue. 9News

NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet urged people who don't have symptoms, have not been directed by NSW Health or are not travelling interstate to not get tested.

Health Minister Brad Hazzard said to get a rapid antigen test if you're visiting family instead of lining up for a PCR test. Mr Hazzard has urged people who are not symptomatic to avoid a PCR test, instead, getting a rapid antigen test.
