Australians are being warned to avoid public gatherings as the risk of violence is heightened, according to the smarttraveller website."Avoid demonstrations and public gatherings. Essential services are impacted. Continue to follow the advice of local authorities." According to smarttraveller, between September 21 and 24, a nationwide curfew will take place from 6am to 6pm, extending the existing 10pm to 5am restrictions.
