Gina Wilson-Burns says she's been forced to choose between her son Mac's education and his health, as a lack of disability support makes homeschooling a challenge.

"The reality is, what's had to give is Mac's education, so we've actually had to put it a little bit on the back-burner just for these few weeks and just try and stay connected as best we can."Yeah 12 student, Ben Mavlian lives with autism and said the lack of one-on-one support was challenging for him.

"The hardest part is probably not having somebody to be around and to help me when I'm struggling with my work," said Ben. Mum Julie Mavlian said she played catch-up each night to support Ben and her three other children after a long day of work as a teacher.
