Brian Denvir said a mix-up with the name on his boarding pass meant check-in staff at Cork airport refused to let him onto his flight.
A partially-sighted pensioner claims he was left stranded at an airport after Ryanair stopped him from boarding his flight.
Brian has a second home in West Cork close to his daughter and her family and had already missed an earlier flight on Thursday, September 7, after arriving late to the airport due a fatal accident on the roads. "I fly to Cork about eight times a year and I've never had any problems before. If the girl at the gate had cooperated with her colleagues there wouldn't have been a problem, but it was quite clear she didn't want to do that."
