Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell says the “latest issue” NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet has had to deal with is this “controversial appointment” of the former deputy NSW premier John Barilaro to a role he set up when he was minister.
Mr Perrottet has announced he has ordered a review into the appointment of Mr Barilaro to the role of the state’s senior trade
and investment commissioner to the Americas.“Pretty hard politically to send the former deputy premier to the city that never sleeps.”
