A 19-year-old Perth man has been charged with 208 child sex offences after being linked to an 'abhorrent' Australian online child exploitation network. 9News

The man has been accused of sexually assaulting five boys aged between 3 and 11 who he allegedly met through family and friends between 2014 and 2020. A joint investigation between Australian Federal Police and Western Australia Police resulted in the arrest after recordings of the alleged abuse were shared with other accused sex offenders across the country, including a New South Wales man who was arrested in May.Police will allege an examination of the NSW man's electronic devices led police to the 19-year-old Gosnells man.

He has been charged with 60 counts of distributing child exploitation material, 58 counts of indecently recording a child under 13 years, 52 counts of indecent dealings with a child under 13, 26 counts of sexual penetration of a child under 13 years, five counts of inciting child under 13 to do an indecent act and four counts of persistent sexual conduct with a child under 16.
