Police resume search for 22yo hiker missing in Grampians after calling her mother
The police air wing and state emergency service are searching for a woman who got lost while hiking in the Grampians in Victoria's west yesterday.
The 22-year-old set off alone for the hike in the Mount Rosea area near Halls Gap about noon, before calling her mother at eight o'clock last night saying she was lost.The search was suspended early this morning, but crews are now back on the ground. Mount Rosea has an altitude of more than 1,000 metres, and overnight temperatures were predicted to plummet to near freezing.
