"The public health unit have ruled out that it's Delta but we haven't been able to confirm Omicron," Health Minister Yvette D'Ath said.Three of the new cases are locally acquired and two of the cases are interstate acquired. Authorities also reported a case in Calabar yesterday which has been confirmed to be someone who travelled from Greater Adelaide., which now stands at 19 cases.
Anyone who has been in the region since 1am on November 28 and arrived in Queensland will be required to go into mandatory home or hotel quarantine for 14 days tomorrow.From December 6, travellers from Greater Adelaide will need to receive a negative PCR test result 72 hours before arriving.The Greater Adelaide area covers around 20 local government areas.
