Qantas CEO Alan Joyce has taken a sly dig at the former Coalition government, saying he was forced to wait for the election to begin discussions about ending a mask mandate.
Travellers have been victim to confusing rules when travelling to and from Australia, with other countries moving to scrap COVID-related restrictions for those in transit.

Picture: NCA NewsWire / Damian Shaw “We’ve had a change of government we had to wait for the election to change with the new government in place with a new federal Transport Minister in place I talked to her about this and we’re hoping to make progress on this soon,” he told host Ben Fordham.
