“You can assume wherever you live in Queensland you have the potential now to be exposed by this virus and you should be living your life as if that is the case,” Chief Health Officer John Gerrard said.Mr Gerrard said he expected a rise in COVID-19 cases across Queensland in the coming days.
Before the weekend, Queensland achieved its 90 per cent first dose vaccination milestone, with the state now at 90.36 first dose and 85.88 per cent second dose.“We’re not going to stop . We’re trying to slow it down a little bit to enable people to get third doses,” Chief Health Officer Dr John Gerrard said at the time.
