NRL: Cam Murray could be facing a lengthy stint on the sidelines well into 2025, after sustaining a wrist injury.
Cameron Murray has suffered a wrist injury in Kangaroos camp which could see him miss the start of the Rabbitohs’ 2025 NRL campaign.
“Rabbitohs captain Cameron Murray has sustained a wrist injury whilst in Australian camp which will rule him out for the remainder of the Pacific Championships,” the statement read.“Murray sustained a scapholunate injury. He will see a surgeon next week upon his return to Sydney. The Rabbitohs were hit with a wave of injuries throughout 2024, with gun centre Campbell Graham failing to take the field due to a sternum issue.Murray himself was also sidelined for an extended period with a hip flexor issue, while Latrell Mitchell spent time sidelined due to suspension, injury and an off-field incident.
Murray’s latest blow was reportedly suffered during the Kangaroos win over the Kiwis, with Hudson Young coming on for him in the back row.
