Prisoners have been brutally killed and their corpses desecrated while family members are forced to watch the grim spectacle in North Korea under Kim Jong-un’s brutal dictatorship.
The investigation was conducted by a Seoul-based human rights organisation which has detailed a number of public executions in the closed-off nation of North Korea.

A third witness described the accused being tied to a wooden post with pebbles stuffed in his mouth during a public execution in Sariwon in 2015.
The TJWG said executions often involved a public statement declaring the accused person was a “social problem” and threat to society. The TJWG said North Korea appears to be selecting strategic places away from the border to carry out public executions.The report suggested King Jong-un’s regime was paying more attention to the international response to human rights abuses.
