Prime Minister Scott Morrison has pledged to keep the nation “stronger and safer together” as he prepares for an election fight on the economy.

Speaking at The Sydney Institute, Mr Morrison used the address to outline his government’s leadership during the pandemic.

While conceding the government didn’t get everything right, the Prime Minister warned that Labor, if elected, would use COVID-19 as an excuse to expand the size of government. Mr Morrison detailed his three election priorities, the economic recovery, national security and unity of social cohesion.
