Former prime minister Scott Morrison has delayed his backbench debut ahead of the Albanese Government's first week in parliament.

Mr Morrison was this week anticipated to return to the backbench for the first time in almost a decade as Australia’s 47th parliament convenes for the first time on Tuesday.
