NSW Police said the current search occurring in the Kendall area for the missing boy's remains will be completed this week.NSW Police will conclude the search in the Kendall area this week.

Police said forensic examination of items seized from the area as well as a "significant quantity" of soil will continue. "The NSW Police Force remains committed to finding William Tyrrell and investigations by the Homicide Squad's Strike Force Rosann are ongoing," NSW Police said in a statement.The search for WIlliam Tyrrell was relaunched a month ago, after the boy disappeared in 2014.

Police reopened the search into the 2014 disappearance of then three-year-old William Tyrrell a month ago. A number of items of interest were collected for examination during the search, including animal bones, pieces of material and fabric, and plastic bags.Strike Force Rosann detectives are continuing to prepare a brief for the coroner.
