Melbourne residents who live alone are set for some relief from coronavirus lockdowns from next week, with the creation of a 'singles bubble'. 9News

"It is essentially extending those arrangements for partners who don't live in the same household to those who live on their own."The system will operate under the same rules currently in place for intimate partners who don't live together.

The single person will essentially create a "social bubble" with one other person from a different household who can visit them, and who they can visit in turn.They may visit the other household even if that household contains multiple people.
