Shadow Finance Minister Jane Hume says small businesses are “nervous” and are planning for an “economic turndown” due to the rising costs of living.
“If a government doesn’t make an economic plan for better times, well then businesses will plan for the worst,” Ms Hume told Sky News Australia.
“My concern is that the government has taken its eye off the ball and its focus away from what is most important, which is addressing the cost of living and rising inflation.”
