BREAKING: A man who sparked the biggest maritime search in South Australia’s history has gone missing once again, sending a distress signal this morning.
Tony Higgins made a distress call to police just after 5am on Tuesday to say his boat, the Magrel, was “taking on water” near Granite Island.

Picture: Matt Turner.“Police are currently searching for a boat off Victor Harbor,” SA Police said in a statement. “The boat is the same vessel that was the subject of an extensive search earlier this month south of Port Lincoln.
“Local police with assistance from PolAir, Water Operations Unit and Sea Rescue volunteers are currently conducting a search around Granite Island.”Source:News Corp Australia
