Law and consulting firms need to go beyond merely offering public support for the enshrinement of an Indigenous Voice.

Corporate Australia has a really important role in helping their own people understand why it’s important.“Speaking as a managing partner of a large law firm, the Voice to Parliament will create a fairer and more just Australia and lawyers have a role to play in that.
“I’ve had three client calls over the last day from corporates asking ‘how can we assist’,” he said on Wednesday. KPMG was starting by “bringing people into the firm who have a deep understanding of the history of Indigenous relations in Australia” to educate its senior leaders, who would then “communicate that down into the organisation”.
