The hills are alive with the sound of buyers demanding a slice of some of NSW’s hottest suburbs in 2021.
PropTrack director of economic research Cameron Kusher said a range of factors were driving demand in suburbs like Baulkham Hills and Winston Hills. “A lot of buyers are looking at areas of strong price growth that also include good lifestyle options,” Mr Kusher said.“Over the next year, we will see a number of returning white collar expats that will continue to drive growth in Sydney’s eastern suburbs and the Hills District.
Belle Property Real Estate Agent Thomas Perram has lived in North Rocks, the second most in-demand suburb on the list, for 33 years.According to Mr Perram, North Rocks has been slowly gaining traction over the past few years as buyers are noticing all the things that the suburb has to offer. Balgowlah topped the list for most in-demand suburbs for viewers looking to buy a unit, with 7,206 average views per listing.
“My brother and I love the beaches, but I wanted to move somewhere where I could enjoy the sun and be close to the city,” Ms Kovach explained.
